Pendle Pastures is a multi generational small family farm, within the rolling hills of the Ribble Valley, where we produce the finest tasting nutrient dense food from well nurtured and cared for animals, using regenerative, environmentally beneficial, holistic farm management practices .

Our core belief is that nourishing food can only be derived from ethically, compassionately raised animals, on land that is managed regeneratively, to produce a natural, healthy diet.

Our ethos is that Halal and Tayyib concepts, of mercy and compassion, are essential for the entirety  of an animals life, not just their last moments in an abattoir.

That means our food is derived from animals who live a dignified, contented life. Providing  food to people who take seriously their own health, but also their duty as stewards, caring respectfully for all inhabitants and creatures on this earth.

Abdur Rahman comes from a long linage of farmers, continuing as the 5th generation of dairy producers and shepherds dating their presence on the land of Pendle Pastures since 1879.

Using modern and traditional methods, he strives to leave the land he influences, for the next generation in a better condition then when he found it, and hopes they can do the same again.

About Aminah

A FARMERS DAUGHTER ,GLOBAL TRAVELLER AND HEALTH NUT, AMINAH ATCHA USES THE SKILLS LIFE TAUGHT HER TRAVELLING THE WORLD AS A PROJECT MANAGER and WOMEN’S DEVELOPMENT worker in 3rd world countries TO DRIVE THE BUSINESS ALONG ITS ETHICAL DIRECTION.

SHE LOVINGLY CARES FOR THE LAMBS AND SHEEP, AS WELL AS HER COTTAGE GARDEN AND WHATEVER FREE TIME HER  ANIMALS AND HUSBAND ALLOW HER, IS SPENT NURTURING HER CREATIVE SIDE WITH PAINTING AND CALLIGRAPHY.

Pendle Pasture is a 5th generation led small family farm, nestled in the heart of the Ribble Valley; surrounded by lush countryside, the encompassing hills of Pendle and Waddington Fell, bordering the ancient Forest of Bowland.
